Isaac Smith - Artist - Liberty Lake Project... a work in Stained Glass

I was approached by the client with a problem where they have two bedroom and two bathroom windows that look directly at their neighbor's house. Their neighbors can see directly into their rooms from their balcony. The clients had blinds but they darkened the room; therefore, they wanted to have privacy but to still have light coming in.

I began by looking at the bedroom to see what kind of design would work in each space and how each should flow. The flow of the bedroom moved from left to right with a window that visually opens outside to trees and rolling green, thus the design opening to the right. There were leaf like shapes in some of the décor within the room so I carried on with that theme. I created a design that flowed between the two windows and to appear as if the design gets larger and opens up as it flows and moves one's eye outside. I used clear textured glass to give privacy and allow light to come in, hand beveled glass to give dimension and light play and color as highlights.
