The other window opens and needed to retain that function. I created a design that tied in to the natural elements outside… the nearby trees and subtleties of the wind. The frame of the piece is curved and flowing with the wind, along with the leaves within the design. Curving the frame made it part of the design and allowed the use of the locking mechanism and handle that keeps the window functional.

Creating stained glass windows with designs that fit their particular spaces solved the client's problem, and provided them with works of art that can be enjoyed anew with each change of the light and season.
